Provincial Nomination
Eleven
Canadian provinces (Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador,
Northwest Territories, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Saskatchewan,
Yukon) have an agreement with the Government of Canada and allow individuals
with genuine intention to settle in the nominated province based on their
immigration needs. The Provincial Nominees (Migrants) must complete the
provincial nomination process.
Francophone
Immigration
Francophone Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) wants to help Canada's
Francophone minority communities to benefit from immigration as much as Canada's
English-speaking communities. By working closely with other government
departments and agencies, provinces, territories, municipalities and communities
themselves, they made a lot of progress toward that goal.
